Challenge:

Campus security is the most important thing for students. Security administrators are facing more and more challenges due to the increase of campus violence, campus thefts and other security problems. How to better manage campus security, how to upgrade the security system, how to seamlessly connect the third party platform and other issues have become a new topic of campus security.

Background:

Komar University of Science and Technology (KUST) - Sulaimani was established and licensed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Kurdistan Regional Government in 2009. KUST is a private university governed by a Board of Trustees and run by an Administration Council. Its main campus is located in the city of Sulaimani, in Kurdistan, Iraq. At present, the school has deployed UNV monitoring products to ensure the safety of the campus.

Solution and Products:

In order to effectively protect the safety of KUST, products with high quality and high resolution images, especially PTZ cameras with 360 ° rotation and long-distance detection, are needed to cover every corner of the university. Meanwhile, due to the fact that the climate of Sulaimani is affected by altitude, the temperature in summer can reach up to 39℃, so the deployed outdoor camera is required to withstand the high temperature.
