Uniview (UNV) and PAM Distributing Co. have partnered to make a meaningful contribution to education and innovation at Tulsa Tech, donating a range of advanced security cameras and network video recorders (NVRs) to support real-world learning in classrooms and labs.
Beyond Hardware: Building Career Pathways
This initiative is more than a donation—it’s an open door for students to dive deep into the world of security technology. With professional-grade devices in hand, learners can safely disassemble camera modules to understand sensors, optics, and image processing; set up and configure NVRs; and practice system integration and troubleshooting from end to end. Some units will be reassembled and deployed for training scenarios, giving students a full equipment lifecycle experience—from bench to build.
This hands-on approach enables:
• Technical mastery of camera/NVR architecture and cyber-security principles
• Practical troubleshooting and system integration skills
• Exposure to innovation through smart analytics and AIoT convergence
“When students can touch, test, and troubleshoot real systems, theory becomes understanding—and understanding becomes opportunity,” said a Uniview spokesperson. “We’re proud to partner with PAM Distributing and Tulsa Tech to help cultivate the next generation of security professionals.”
“Industry-education collaboration is vital for workforce readiness,” added a representative from PAM Distributing. “These tools let students experiment responsibly and gain job-ready skills that translate directly to the field.”
Fostering a Better Tomorrow
Beyond Uniview, we hold ourselves accountable for how we do business and how we present our legacy to the community and planet. Using science and technology, we seek practical ways to assist—today and for the generations that follow.
“True progress goes beyond products,” said a representative of Uniview. “By empowering students with tools to dissect and rebuild our systems, we’re not just donating equipment—we’re co-creating a legacy of knowledge-sharing and ethical technological stewardship.”
